This article primarily introduces the standard process for loading and unloading aluminum gratings, including how we should load aluminum grating into the container and advise our customers on how to unload the aluminum grating.

Below the article we will take the 3’ x 24’ aluminum gratings as an example to explain how to load and unload the aluminum gratings pallet.
Load The Aluminum Grating Pallet
With a Loading Platform Or Loading Dock
The container is transported to the right location of a loading platform or loading dock and opens the door. The forklift first places the aluminum grating pallet to the matching location. The side of the pallet with castors is positioned closest to the container door. The forklift inserts the forks into the end of the pallet without castors, lifts it up, and then pushes the pallet into the container.
The Loading Dock:
Without a Loading Platform Or Loading Dock
Forklift #1 inserts the forks into the middle of the pallet’s length and lifts it, aligning it with the container. The container then reverses, with the side of the pallet with wheels entering the container first. Forklift #2 supports the pallet from the other end. After Forklift #1 moves away, Forklift #2 pushes the pallet fully into the container.
Forklift:
Unload The Aluminum Grating Pallet
With a Loading Platform Or Loading Dock
After the container is in a fixed position, the forklift lifts the pallet and directly pulls the aluminum grating pallet onto the warehouse platform, then transfers it.
Without a Loading Platform Or Loading Dock
Forklift #2 lifts the pallet and pulls it out 2/3 of the length. Then Forklift #1 lifts the pallet from the middle, and Forklift #2 moves away. Forklift #1 then moves the pallet to the fixed position.
